Abstract: Planning for climate change will change how we run our businesses, government agencies and other organisations. The Australian Government is increasing its focus on adaptation- one of the three pillars of its comprehensive climate change strategy. The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) agreed to the National Climate Change Adaptation Framework in April 2007. The Framework covers a range of cooperative actions between all Australian governments to begin to address key demands from business and the community for targeted information on climate change impacts and adaptation options.
