What we do

Ninti Training is an Aboriginal-owned Registered Training Organisation that delivers practical, community-focused learning to build strong, capable workforces. It partners with organisations and communities to design training that reflects local priorities, cultural knowledge and real workplace needs.

Ninti Training delivers a mix of accredited and non-accredited programs that strengthen skills across health, community services, governance, mentoring, workforce development and foundation skills. Training is hands-on and workplace-focused, with content shaped around participant roles and the contexts in which they work.

Programs can be delivered on-site or in community, reducing travel and making it easier for people to participate. Trainers use a strengths-based, culturally responsive approach that values existing knowledge and supports learners to apply new skills immediately in their jobs.

Training is delivered using group activities, demonstrations, real-workplace tasks and supported self-paced learning.

This helps participants build both confidence and competency in their day-to-day roles.

Ninti Training also designs flexible non-accredited programs that build the skills and confidence of Aboriginal and Torres StraitI Islander people and health professionals. Training is delivered in ways that reinforce local organisations and create space for communities to shape and pursue their own aspirations.

How we work with organisations

Ninti Training works collaboratively to understand organisational goals, workforce needs and community priorities. Together with partners, it designs training plans that:

- Align with current and future job roles.

- Support staff retention, progression and wellbeing.

- Respect cultural protocols and community leadership.

- Provide clear pathways intofurther training and qualifications.

Evaluation and feedback are built into the process so programs continue to improve and remain relevant over time. LLND outcomes are considered alongside broader workforce and community goals to ensure trainingdelivers real benefits.

Benefits for participants and communities

Participants gain practical skills they can use straight away, along with increased confidence, independence and digital capability. Organisations benefit from a workforce that communicates more clearly, completes documentation more accurately and applies stronger problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Because training is grounded in what community need and is delivered in culturally safe ways, it supports individual learners and strengthens more sustainable local employment opportunities. The LLND focus within foundation skills also helps build long-term capability in communities and workplaces.
