The Broadcasting for Remote Areas Community Scheme: Small vs big media

Abstract:

This paper will examine the introduction of BRACS to remote Aboriginal communities, and the potential that this scheme has for local Aboriginal radio and video production to counter the mainstream European programming received via AUSSAT.
