Message from the Managing Director, Rod Reeve

With NAIDOC Week and National Reconciliation Week happening recently, there has been a hive of activities at Ninti. This also coincides with us refreshing our Reconciliation Action Plan. We are quite fortunate to be able to contribute to these important cultural activities through our everyday work, guided by strong cultural leadership of our Board, Chaired by Prof Tom Calma AO.

A highlight so far in 2025 is Ninti’s engagement by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, to assist up to 49 Aged Care service providers to meet the standards of the new Aged Care Act. This 2-year contract is part of the NATSIFAC program, which provides culturally appropriate aged care to older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Ninti’s four companies are increasingly being drawn upon to undertake high impact work. At any one time, we are implementing 30-40 programs across a range of sectors in Australia and overseas. I hope you enjoy reading about some of them in this newsletter.
