The
Minutes
are a legal record of the
business of the meeting.
They show what business the Board
did, who moved or seconded a motion
and what the vote decided.
The first thing the Secretary will do at a
meeting, after writing down who is there
and taking the Apologies, is ask people
to read the Minutes and agree that this
is a true record of the last Meeting.
This stops arguments about what
happened.
