The first thing you need for a meeting is
the
Agenda
.
This lists what will happen at the
meeting in order: Apologies from
people who can’t be at the meeting; the
Minutes of the last meeting; reports
from the Chairperson, the CEO and the
Treasurer; and any business.
The second thing you need is a
Quorum
. This is what your Constitution
says is the minimum number you need
to hold a legal meeting that can make
decisions for the organisation. For
example, for ordinary meetings, this
might be half the Directors. For the
AGM or a Special General Meeting,
maybe 75 per cent of the membership.
