Social Media Post of the Month

The Sydney Swans have once again demonstrated their commitment to community wellbeing by partnering with Na Joomelah to promote the Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) program. In a powerful message shared across their social media platforms and played live at the Sir Doug Nichoolls Round, the Swans highlighted the severe health consequences of smoking and vaping, particularly on the heart, lungs and mental health. Urging all Australians to “make it a hard pass” on these harmful habits.

As part of this initiative, NBPU TIS representatives Kerindy Clarke and Mel Donohue were honoured guests at the Swans’ pre-game dinner, followed by a live viewing of the game. Their attendance marked a significant show of support for the ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use and to encourage quitting through community driven approaches.

By lending their platform to this vital cause, the Sydney Swans continue to be champions both on and off the field, helping to build healthier stronger communities.
