Abstract: Recent years have been tumultuous times for Indigenous Australians. There have been moments of sadness, anger and disbelief at the extent of discrimination and lack of protection of Indigenous rights. But there have also been significant moments of healing, reconciliation and most recently jubilation! Today I will reflect with you on developments in relation to Indigenous health, the Northern Territory Emergency Response to family violence and child abuse, land and sea rights, and Indigenous representation.
