Ninti Co-Hosts International Delegation Study Tour
In late August, Ninti One co-hosted a Northern Territory Energy Study Tour for a Timor-Leste delegation through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I). Delegates from the Eletricidade de Timor-Leste and the National Directorate of Climate Change travelled to Garramilla (Darwin), Jabiru, Nauiyu and Mparntwe (Alice Springs) to learn about the Territory’s approach to renewable energy and remote off-grid power solutions.
Ninti supported engagement with many First Nation Australians, who welcomed the delegation and shared culture and approaches to First Nations-led energy and technology solutions to transition to a cleaner and affordable future.
Well-known public speaker, teacher, activist and former Senior Australian of the Year, Dr Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr Baumann AM, was part of the welcome when the delegates arrived at the Daly River. The Timor-Leste visitors joined Dr Miriam-Rose, local services providers and various representatives from Daly River’s Traditional Owners, the Malak Malak, for a lunch and tour of the Merrepen Arts Centre.
Ninti One is proud to be a delivery partner on the Australian Government Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I) initiative. P4I creates effective infrastructure outcomes in Southeast Asia. You can learn more about the initiative, delivered by EY, Adam Smith International, The Asia Foundation and Ninti One, here
