Meet the team – Kelly Franklin

Hi, I’m Kelly. I’ve been with Ninti One for over 18 years, working across a range of national projects in program coordination, logistics and operational support.

In my current role with the NATSIFACP Regulation Support Hub, I coordinate our monthly newsletter, work closely with stakeholders, support governance processes, and help deliver workshops and site visits.

My background in travel and operations has really shaped how I work—I enjoy bringing all the moving pieces together, whether that’s logistics, scheduling or communication, to make sure things run smoothly. I’ve also spent a lot of time supporting project teams to meet their contractual requirements and, most importantly, deliver strong outcomes for communities.

Q&A with Kelly

What does your role at the Support Hub involve?

I support the day-to-day coordination of the Support Hub, including organising logistics for site visits, contributing to this monthly newsletter, and assisting the team with resource development and administrative tasks.

What’s one area you’re particularly focused on right now?

Right now, I’m busy coordinating flights and accommodation for our team as we prepare for upcoming site visits with service providers.

What do you enjoy most about working with NATSIFAC program service providers?

The people. Every service provider I’ve connected with has been incredibly welcoming and generous with their time and knowledge. Coming from a different area of Aboriginal Health, I was new to aged care and the reform space, but both the Support Hub team and providers have made that transition a really positive experience.

What’s something you’d like providers to know as reforms roll out?

Every organisation is at a different stage of their journey and that’s completely okay. The Support Hub is here to support you, wherever you’re at, to help embed reform changes in a way that works for your service. Try not to compare your progress with others, we’re all doing the best we can with the resources available. Please reach out and lean on us, we’re here to help.

What’s your favourite downtime activity?

With three kids (14, 12 and 7), most of my time is spent on the go—running between sports and social activities. When I do get a quiet moment (usually in the car!), I enjoy switching on a good podcast or an audiobook.
