Meet the Team | April
This month the National Best Practice Unit welcomes Tommy Zeaiter.
Tommy Zeaiter is the NBPU TIS Program Officer for the Northern Territory. A proud Kokatha, Mirning man, he was born and raised on Kaurna Country.
Tommy brings close to 10 years’ experience in Indigenous employment and outcomes, having worked across multiple organisations and states. Prior to joining NBPU TIS, Tommy worked with CSIRO in the Indigenous Science and Engagement team, where he played a key role in developing CSIRO’s first Indigenous Graduate Program. This initiative created a pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university graduates to enter the workforce, gain hands-on experience in research careers aligned with their studies and explore opportunities to pursue Honours, Masters or PhD qualifications.
Outside of work, Tommy is a devoted husband and father to his two beautiful children, Isaiah and Eva. His passions include football, NBA, and boxing.
