Tammy Abbott is a Western Arrernte and Luritja/Pintipi woman from Alice Springs. She has been a Senior Aboriginal Community Researcher with Ninti One since 2012. She is a community engagement and data collection specialist with expertise in working with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. She is skilled in managing complex, challenging and time sensitive projects on behalf of a range of clients including various Aboriginal land councils, the Department of Housing and Community Development, the University of Melbourne, University of Canberra, the Department of Health, the Department of Human Services, National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) and the Department of Education, Skills and Employment.
Tammy has a strong network of community leaders across remote Australia and has worked on projects across Australia.
