Deadly mob connections

We celebrate our team’s success, and take equal pride in celebrating the wins of our mob as a whole.

Round 18 of the 2025 AFL season marked a huge occasion as Izak Rankine took to the field for his 100th game. Behind the scenes were proud family members: Ronald OBrien, Program Officer (SA, VIC, TAS), Izak’s older brother, and Tommy Zeaiter, Program Officer (NT), their cousin. The family travelled to Naarm to share in the celebration of this fantastic milestone.

Why we’re excited:

• In his centenary match, Rankine delivered a strong performance, recording 8 contested possessions and 9 uncontested possessions, totaling 18 disposals, while also laying 8 tackles and covering 343 metres gained. 

• Across the season to date (2025), he’s been exceptional, averaging 12.7 kicks, 8.4 handballs, 21.1 disposals, 4 marks, 1.4 goals, and 3.7 tackles per game over 18 matches

Putting it all together, Izak’s milestone game and season to date are a proud reminder of the strength and talent our mob brings, not just on-field, but in every corner of our community.
