Free training opportunities for Northern Territory Aged Care Workers

We’re pleased to share two upcoming free training opportunities being delivered by Response Employment & Training under the Regional, Rural and Remote Home Care Workforce Support Program, funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

In Alice Springs, a First Aid & CPR course for Aged Care staff will be held on Friday 15 May, covering accredited units in CPR, basic emergency life support and First Aid.

In Nhulunbuy, Introductory Aged Care training will be delivered on Tuesday 5 May and Thursday 7 May, with sessions focused on infection control and safe work practices. This training is open to anyone interested in working in aged care.

These opportunities support workforce development across both the Top End and Central Northern Territory, so please feel free to share the attached flyers with your team mates and broader networks.
