Funding opportunities for remote service providers to attend the 2026 Remote Aged Care Summit
Registrations are now open for the 2026 Remote Aged Care Summit, hosted by the Aged Care Workforce Remote Accord (ACWRA) and taking place in Meanjin/Brisbane on 28–29 April 2026.
The Summit will bring together voices from remote and very remote communities to share experiences of aged care delivery, explore workforce attraction and retention challenges, and discuss practical solutions aligned with the new Aged Care Act. It provides a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and contribute to shaping the future of aged care in remote Australia.
To support participation from remote areas, the Remote Accord is offering 40 funded places, with $1,500 per person available to assist with travel and accommodation costs for attendees from MM6–7 locations. Funded places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis.
Early registration is recommended.
