NATSIFACP | Regulation Support Hub Update
Welcome back to 2026! We hope you had a restful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the year ahead.
While the year may be new, the Support Hub hasn’t slowed down. Over the past few months, our team has been busy behind the scenes developing practical resources to support providers. We’re looking forward to sharing these with you during our upcoming site visits.
We’d also like to take a moment to thank all NATSIFAC providers who have taken the time to meet with us online for our change readiness yarns. We know how challenging it can be to carve out time in already busy schedules. So far, providers from 36 sites have joined us across 25 yarns, generously sharing their experiences, questions and local perspectives. These conversations are helping us better understand what’s working well and where further support is needed as we move through the changes together. Another exciting milestone on the horizon is our first face-to-face site visit which happened this week. We look forward to contacting you all over the coming weeks to set a date to visit your aged care service. Another exciting opportunity that we have shared details for in our ‘Looking ahead’ section is a funding opportunity for remote service providers to attend the 2026 Remote Aged Care Summit in Meanjin/Brisbane at the end of June. Make sure you read the information and take advantage of this generous grant for 40 remote staff to attend this summit. It’s a first come basis so get your applications in quick!
Finally, we’re pleased to share that we’ll soon be hosting an online webinar focused on NATSIFAC governance. This session will be a great opportunity for board members and CEO’s to come together online so please share with your contacts to ensure we can engage those individuals who may benefit from guidance on governance changes under the aged care reforms.
