Most Boards have up to 12 members,
or
Directors
.
Directors are usually elected for
two years.
After two years, any Director can
stand again to be elected for another
two years.
The Constitution will say how much
power they have.
Then Directors decide how the
organisation will meet the Objectives
(aims) of the Constitution.
They have to make sure it works the
right way with the Act and the
Constitution.
They also have to see that the funding
the organisation gets is properly spent.
