Governance Principles.
For good governance, people and
organisations need:
• To be prepared to act for the
good of other people and not
for themselves.
• To be guided by the rule book and
what it says are the objectives (aims)
of the organisation.
• To be open, honest and respectful in
the way they work.
Boards don’t run anything. They do the planning and make the decisions.
