The Office of the Registrar of Aboriginal
Corporations. ORIC regulates (keeps an
eye on) all companies that are incorporated
under the Corporations (Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006.
POLICY
A set of written rules for managing the
organisation.
PROTOCOLS
Rules you would like people to follow if
they are doing business with your
organisation, an organisation or your
community.
Both policy and protocol are demonstrated in a Special General Meeting,
where members change the organisation’s policy
