

A good facilitator will also know about
calling in interpreters to help with the
planning process.
It means people don’t have to struggle
to work out what someone else is
saying and you don’t always need to
write things down.
The facilitator gets the things you need
for the workshop ready: like maps,
masking tape, butcher’s paper, marker
pens, card and camera.
Some people might want to make
rough drawings too, to make better
sense of the process.
