Every month, the NBPU TIS newsletter highlights a Tackling Indigenous Smoking team that’s recently posted something great on their social pages.
This month we enjoyed one from the NT’s Big Rivers Consortium lead by the team at Katherine West Health Board. The Ngukurr community welcomed the TIS team to spread the smoke TIS messaging through yarning circles and sharing their smoke free spaces resources. Participants looked engaged and excited to promote smoke free areas in their community. It was also a great chance to promote their new TV advertisement Big Rivers TIS -Ngukurr TV advertisement.
