Abstract: The project investigated current wild harvest and post harvest activities in the native food value adding chain using bio active components (the antioxidants lycopene and ascorbic acid) in the selected native food plants as indicators of quality changes through post harvest handling, storage, transportation and processing under current conditions and practices.
