Abstract: Separation in population size and density, social structure, morbidity, mortality and gene flow in Aboriginal people along the Murray River from those of the hinterland; process of exclusivity in social organisation and reproductive isolation in gene flow produced a regional population with substantial morphological variation; Kow Swamp and Coobool Creek samples.
