Abstract: Supplying education on aspects of the menopause to outback women of far western New South Wales is one of the most challenging facets in my role as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Women's Health Nurses function as primary health care workers by being the first level of contact for women in the community. This conatact allows for appropriate referral to occur.
