Abstract: This special issue explores various dimensions of social justice from a global perspective and the national specificity of Australia. It particularly focuses on the issues of race and racism, woman and social justice, and the legal dimension of social justice. It includes pieces on Koori (aboriginal) struggles; multiculturalism; the issues of gender inequality, domestic violence, and paternalism; and law and social justice.
