Abstract: The purpose of the evaluation was to evaluate the performance of the Fixing Houses for Better Health (FHBH) Projects in achieving their objectives and to make recommendations for future FHBH Project rounds. The scope of the evaluation was to: - understand the social, economic and political context in which the FHBH Projects operate - evaluate the effectiveness of the development and design of the FHBH Projects - understand the interrelationship between FHBH Projects and state and territory housing policy - assess the implementation of the FHBH Projects with an emphasis on community involvement and the development of on-community housing maintenance capacity - assess FHBH Projects against their objectives - assess the cost-effectiveness of FHBH Projects.
