Abstract: The Australian Feral Camel Management Project involved a large number of diverse formal collaborators and broader stakeholders. Establishing and maintaining formal and informal collaborations was key to the success of the project. Good governance and communication processes underpin such collaboration and support the ability of projects to be flexible and to respond to unexpected changes in operating environment and/or stakeholder concerns. A priority for the project was to establish enduring relationships that would facilitate ongoing feral camel management.
