Abstract: This report summarises issues of access and equity within education and training for people in rural and remote Australia. The issues identified relate to participation in vocational education and training [VET], issues of community (social and industry) and issues relating to the individual. Pathways and VET in terms of learning culture, course provision, delivery methods, program content, student support and entry requirements are also discussed. The report concludes with a discussion of access and equity implications for the VET system.
