Abstract: Over a two-year period, six leading independent artists - both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal - were invited by six Aboriginal art centres to collaborate in producing a significant body of work. The selected artists travelled enormous distances to regional and often remote Aboriginal communities across Australia where they stayed for extended periods of time.
