Abstract: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the First Nations people of Australia and comprise 3.3% of the total Australian population. With over 150 language groups, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population is diverse in culture, beliefs and knowledges and has both unique and shared experiences.
