Co-design of DFAT’s first online Contractor Reporting Framework – DFAT

In 2018, Ninti co-designed DFAT’s first on-line Contractor Reporting Framework. The framework is now called ‘PERFORMS’, and it will contribute to measuring and demonstrating value-for-money on DFAT’s entire program. This assignment reviewed files from 30 current DFAT agreements with a total value of over $2.5 billion, representing an adequate spread of projects in terms of suppliers, geography and sectors. Ninti then assisted DFAT to develop its first-ever online data-collection program that provides a purview of the entire aid program in areas of Key Result Areas, beneficiaries, financial data, the profile of the supply-chains, personnel data, and leverage. Several hundred variables can now be interrogated across the entire aid program. Concurrently, Ninti conducted a separate review of DFAT’s ‘Partner Performance Assessment (PPA)’ system on foreign aid 57 activities worth over $2 billion.
