Knowledge sharing with Stronger Communities for Children

Stronger Communities for Children Knowledge Sharing

Ninti One’s Stronger Communities for Children (SCfC) team recently held their annual Knowledge Sharing Seminar in Darwin/Garramilla. This year, the Local Community Board members from the 10 SCfC communities participated in activities focused on financial training and empowering boards to be stronger and more informed. The event highlights document is available to read here. The document features details of community success stories, participant feedback and lots of photos from this important event.

Ninti One has been supporting the delivery of the Stronger Communities for Children (SCfC) project on behalf of the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) since 2014. SCfC aims to give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people living in 10 sites across the Northern Territory the best possible start in life. The place-based program works towards this goal through safer families and communities, nurturing educational environments, positive participation opportunities and cultural events.
