Indigenous science stars helped to shine

A program designed to encourage greater visibility for Indigenous researchers and academics in the media is underway at NITV and SBS in Sydney as part of National Science Week. The initiative developed by the Australian Science Media Centre (AusSMC) in partnership with NITV and SBS will help a group of eight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers from QLD, NSW, Victoria, SA and the ACT to shine on the media stage. The program provides hands-on media training with input from Aboriginal experts and journalists from SBS, NITV and The Conversation.
